The Gettysburg Horse Park is THE ONLY FULL SERVICE HORSE FRIENDLY FACILITY with DIRECT access to the Gettysburg National Military Park horse trails for those looking to camp with their horses.

Our facilities offer a warm up riding arena and round pen for your use and unlimited daylight access to the historic riding trails on the battlefield. For your selection we offer 10'x12' covered box stalls as well as single horse open gate corrals and 24'x32' two horse board corrals. We are a full service facility offering equestrian day use, campsites with and without hookups, primitive as well as full service rental units, showers, picnic tables and fire rings, playgrounds, BRAND NEW IN GROUND HEATED POOL, game room, Movie Theater, pavilions and camp store.
Reservations with a $30.00 per site deposit are required to hold your site.
PLEASE HAVE AVAILABLE YOUR NEGATIVE COGGINS PAPERS AS WELL AS THE NAME OF YOUR LIABILITY INSURANCE COMPANY, THESE ARE REQUESTED FOR REGISTRATION AT CHECK IN.
Day Use Fee:
$12.00 per horse.
Day use entitles you to park your rig in the day use parking area and ride the trails with limited use of our facilities.
10' x 12' Covered Box Stalls
$22.00 per Stall Per Night if camping.
$27.00 per Stall Per Night if not camping.
Open Stabling/Outside Paddocks
$17.00 per Horse Per Night if Camping.
$22.00 per Horse Per Night if not camping.
Saw Dust is provided in all covered box stalls. We ask that all stabling facilities be cleaned after use. If stabling facilities are not cleaned prior to check out we will charge your credit card an additional $20.00 cleaning fee. Wheel barrels and muck forks are available for your use.
Make reservations WELL in advance if you wish to secure your facilities.
There is a 15 day cancellation period which applies to all camping, box stalls, corrals and private tours reserved at our facility. If you cancel before fifteen (15) days we will refund you your deposit minus a $5.00 service fee. If you cancel less than fifteen (15) days there will be no refund of your deposit. NO EXCEPTIONS! We do not refund money for rainy weather as we are an outside venue and rain happens.
THERE ARE NO CASH REFUNDS GIVEN FOR ANY REASON.
When Camping with your horses, the following rules must be followed.
1. All campers with horses must stop in the office to register and sign an insurance waiver before entering the campground.
We request your liability insurance company name as well as your coggins accession number for check in. Please bring this information along into the office with you.
2. Horses are not permitted on marked campsites for any reason nor are they permitted to be tied to our cabin railings.
3. Riding in the campgrounds is restricted to the roads only. Please do not ride through the sites. All horses must be kept at a walk when entering or leaving the campground.
4. Stalls are to be cleaned before you leave. If you do not clean your stall there will be a $20.00 fee charged to your credit card for cleaning.
5. We are not responsible for the weather. If you choose to cancel due to weather, there will be no refund of your deposit. There is a 15 day cancellation notice needed to cancel without losing your deposit.
6. We do not refund any monies paid for camping and stabling. If you need to leave early, stop by the office and pick up a certificate for a return trip. We do not do cash refunds.
Please remember that we do have other campers here, and some may not be as fond of horses as we are.
No motorized vehicles, bicycles, or carts on horse trails per National Park Service.
There is NO smoking or drinking of alcohol allowed on any of the horse trails! All campground roads & horse trails are stone; we strongly recommend shoes for your horses.
