Day use entitles you to park your rig in the day use parking area and ride the trails with limited use of our facilities.  $5 for additional adults and $3 for additional guests.  No reservation required.

STABLE CARE

Sawdust is provided in all covered box stalls. We ask that all stabling facilities be cleaned after use. If stabling facilities are not cleaned prior to check-out we will charge your credit card an additional $20.00 cleaning fee. Wheelbarrows and muck forks are available for your use.

CAMPING WITH YOUR HORSES

Registration Requirements and Ground Rules:

  • Register at the office and sign an insurance waiver before entering the campground.
  • Provide your liability insurance company name as well as your Coggins Accession Number to the office during check-in.
  • Horses are not permitted on marked campsites for any reason, nor are they permitted to be tied to the cabin railings.
  • Riding in the campgrounds is restricted to the roads only. Please do not ride through the sites. All horses must be kept at a walk when entering or leaving the campground.

  • Stalls are to be cleaned before you leave. If you do not clean your stall there will be a $20.00 fee charged to your credit card for cleaning.
  • Please remember that we do have other campers here, and some may not be as fond of horses as we are.
  • No motorized vehicles, bicycles, or carts on horse trails per National Park Service.
  • There is NO smoking or drinking of alcohol allowed on any of the horse trails!
  • All campground roads & horse trails are stone; we strongly recommend shoes for your horses.

CANCELLATIONS

  • All rates are subject to change. Holiday rates may apply.
  • Cancellation must be 15 days prior to reservation.
  • Deposits will be returned minus a $15.00 service fee.
  • After 15 days, deposits will not be credited.
  • We reserve the right to change sites as needed.
  • NO CASH REFUNDS. NO EXCEPTIONS!
  • No refunds for rainy weather (we are an outside venue!)

What Makes Our Campground a One-of-a-Kind

We have stayed here many times. I love it here. Its simple to get to, very easy to get set up in your sites, which are pretty level as a whole. Its a large park, convenient to EVERYTHING in Gettysburg. Very fairly priced, and they actually accept Good Sam (Most campgrounds always have a “special weekend” and they don’t accept the GS discount) I recommend this campground.

What a great place! My favorite thing was the vegetable cart that drove around, a great idea! The camp store was VERY well stocked!! Game corner for family time-which we used when it was raining. Neat toys to look at in the back. Friendly, very helpful staff! Nice spots too! Horse friendly, lol! Close to everything you need to visit!

I loved Artillery Ridge Campground!! It was our first time there and we got so lucky they had an opening for Memorial Day weekend. Everyone there was so kind and so nice, we felt welcome immediately! My family and friend – we couldn’t get over how nice they were!!! We kept saying how nice everyone was there the whole time! Best Campground! We were so insanely close to the Gettysburg trail and downtown area. The staff was very friendly so soon as we arrived we were greeted with a smile and they had our paperwork ready to go. The sites are well-maintained and offer full hookups. Also, lots of tent space available, if you prefer. Many sites with and without trees depending on your preference. The kids throughly enjoyed seeing the horses throughout the campground. The entire campground is just beautiful. This is such a wonderful and relaxing place.
